P.A.R.T.Y. Program
Groups of Grade 10 students from the Civics class at Fort Frances High School participated in the “Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth” (P.A.R.T.Y.) program at La Verendrye Hospital here last Wednesday and Friday.

Families Rule

Every family has rules about alcohol, tobacco and drug use. When all the family rules are gathered together and written down they become a family policy. By discussing the ideas in this booklet, your family can prepare a unique Family Alcohol and Drug Use Policy.

Boozum Buddy System

The Boozum Buddy system allows for women to have a safer night of drinking. By pairing up with your 'Boozum Buddy' you commit to providing support and good judgement to a friend that wants to have a few drinks.

P.A.I.N Support Group

Parents Against Illicit Narcotics support group has designed a petition to act on the rising drug problems by establishing Youth Addiction Services and increase drug enforcement in the Rainy River District. The petition is available in 10 locations in the area including the Northwestern Health Unit. Contact Hugh Dennis for more details.

Grab-A-Cab

Participating Partners in the Grab-A-Cab program are North Air Taxi, Rainy Lake Hotel, Royal Canadian Legion, La Place Rendez-Vous Hotel and Warp 9. These establishments sponcor the Designated Driver Program and on request you will receive a Grab-A-Cab coupon.
Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided for all designated drivers.
